Managing after-imaging files

Manage after-imaging areas is a multi-step process. The manual steps involved include:

Monitoring AI file status
Switching to a new AI file
Archiving an AI file
Making an AI file available for reuse

Many of these steps can be automated using the AI File Management Utility, however it is important to understand the manual steps involved in the process. For details on the utility, see the "AI File Management Utility" section. The following sections detail each task in the manual process.
